![]() For VGA support (640x480), a well-argued request in the Wish List forum may help. ![]() ![]() So if you're having issues with SVGA in the PE environment, hopefully Macrium staff in the forum can help, or a support ticket may be in order. This suggests to me that in the PE environment, you should be able to run the rescue version of Reflect at 800圆00 resolution. In a recent post from Nick, he stated that "SVGA (800圆00), introduced in 1988, isn't a resolution Macrium Reflect is tested for compatibilty with ( except in PE)" - emphasis mine. There is a lot of egregious waste of space in the UI in the overly large toolbar buttons, and critical dialogs related to image restoration and status view are not resizable enough or at all and just truncated (No scrolling ability). Tested on laptop Dell Precision 7510.īy DataprotectionEthusiast - 8 October 2021 4:44 AM Yes, I have tried both the legacy EFI and normal EFI mode in the builder, no difference. The reason for this is that a lot of laptops and motherboards implement a very rudimentary UEFI graphics driver which only supports a single low resolution, such that attempting to change the resolution from within reflect does not work (shows a single option only that which it booted with).Īlternatively, please allow loading of even basic graphics drivers in the PE environment so that we are not at the mercy of the machine BIOS hard-coded settings. ![]() I would like to request that efforts be done to make the Reflect UI more usable and navigable on low resolution modes (640x480 or 800圆00).
